Assessment Color Rating System
评估颜色评级系统
Once all findings have been coded, an assessed facility is assigned to one of four color classifications based on its cumulative score. The classifications and corresponding required actions are as follows:
Red (Serious Non-Compliance)
Score of 28 or higher
Factories with non-egregious findings may be used on a short-term basis pending
resolution of findings as confirmed through a follow-up assessment
Follow-up assessment is required; completion is recommended within six months
Facilities with egregious findings (child labor, forced labor, physical abuse, working
conditions presenting an imminent injury risk) may be immediately de-authorized
Orange (Moderate Non-Compliance)
Score between 8 and 27
Facility may be used on a short-term basis pending resolution of findings, which
typically is confirmed through a follow-up assessment; in rare cases, self certification
may be acceptable in lieu of a follow-up assessment
Yellow (Minor Non-Compliance)
Score between 1 and 7
Facility may be used for production, with self-certification of corrective action within
60 days (self-certification is a letter from the supplier stating that all findings cited on
the Assessment Summary Report have taken place)
A re-assessment will be conducted within approximately 3 years to confirm continued
compliance
Green (Fully Compliant)
Score of 0
A re-assessment will be conducted within 3 years to confirm continued compliance
