AFUP
The Assessment Follow-Up Process
Assessment Protocol
A document to be used as a guideline for auditors during the assessment process, which includes a checklist of key information needed and tips for conducting successful opening and closing meetings with facility management.
Assessment Summary Report (ASR)
A summary of key assessment findings, the corrective actions required, and the timeframe for completion of corrective action. The ASR is prepared by the auditor immediately following a facility assessment and presented to facility management for a signature acknowledging receipt of the findings and required corrective actions.
Employee Interview Notes
A document to be used as a guideline for auditors during the employee interview portion of the assessment. These notes must be destroyed immediately after completing the Assessment Report in order to protect employee privacy.
Initial Assessment
The first full assessment to be conducted for The Coca-Cola Company of a particular facility.
Re-Assessment
A full assessment of a facility that has been previously assessed. Re assessments occur when the deadline has arrived for another full assessment, which can range from 1- 3 years depending on the country. Re Assessments also are required for facilities that fail to complete a Follow-Up Assessment, generally within six months of an Initial Assessment.
Service Provider / Assessment Service Provider
The third-party entity responsible for conducting assessments on behalf of The Coca- Cola Company.
Supplier Guiding Principles (SGP)
A statement of The Coca Cola Company’s core values and expectations of its suppliers concerning workplace conditions, the environment, and compliance with applicable local laws and regulations.
TCCC
Acronym for “The Coca-Cola Company”
Follow-Up Assessment
An abbreviated assessment used to confirm corrective action has occurred at facilities where an Initial Assessment or Re-Assessment has resulted in an Orange or Red rating. Follow Up Assessments will generally be conducted within 6 months of the Initial Assessment unless a Workplace Accountability Manager waives the requirement or approves an extension.
Violation Matrix
A table used to categorize commonly encountered violations according to violation type
(e.g. Working Hours & Overtime, Health & Safety) and severity.
WAM
Acronym for “Workplace Accountability Manager”
Workplace Accountability (WA)
The entity responsible for enforcing The Coca Cola Company’s standards as set forth in the Company’s Supplier Guiding Principles.
